iPhone earbud holder
thingiverse
I use my iPhone earbuds with my computer, but I'm fed up with them just lying around on the floor or desk when they're not in use. So I created this simple holder that clips onto the 5mm connector and allows me to hang the earbuds from my computer easily. It's nice and organized. They even work with cheap knockoff iPhone earbuds, as shown by the red color on the picture - it was also tested with original white ones and it fits perfectly. Note: The holder appears upside down in the computer photo - the "horns" should be at the bottom while the clip opening is visible from the top. They do work even when they're upside down, as you can see. I think they just look nicer when they're positioned correctly. Instructions To assemble my model, I printed it with support under the cylindrical clip - although I doubt this was necessary. Before inserting the connector into the clip, make sure to slide the wire through first. One end of the clip is slightly smoothed for easier insertion. Be gentle and push on the connector when installing it, rather than pulling on the wire itself - this earbud wire can be quite fragile even in the original Apple version.
