This model mounts the iPhone in a horizontal orientation where the gauges would normally be found. The dock puts the iPhone in a natural driving location in an orientation easier to read for the driver. This concept uses the line found on the Prius IP over the steering column for alignment when mounting into the interior, and uses the same line to integrate itself seamlessly into the design of the car. This design also uses the curved vertical lines on the steering wheel to help shape the front profile of the hood. The hood not only gives it an automotive feel, but also helps block glares and reflections from the screen. The phone snaps in, and a simple push on the lower lever releases the phone.
