I set out to craft a custom stand for my iPhone that would remain firmly in place even when the phone was removed, and after several prototypes, I'm pleased with the result. To make it work seamlessly, you'll need to attach it to your desk using double-sided tape. Initially, I experimented with various approaches, including filling the base with sand to achieve stability, but ultimately found it too bulky and opted for double-sided tape instead. This latest iteration is the culmination of five prototypes, and I'm working on an updated version that will eliminate the need for tape altogether. Instead, you'll be able to secure it using a wood screw – no need to drill holes in your desk.
