iPhone Charging Dock
thingiverse
I designed a basic dock for iPhones, which didn't meet my expectations in terms of appearance or size compared to other docks available online. I therefore decided to create my own dock, taking into account several essential features. The dock has a dedicated slot for a charging cable, specifically sized to fit most 3rd-party lightning cords, which are generally larger than Apple's standard version. A small storage area is also included at the back of the dock, perfect for holding small items. The photos show a logo on the front of the dock, but the provided files do not include any logos or branding on the front. The model comes in two versions: one with the plug positioned 2mm higher to accommodate most cases and provide better compatibility. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: No Notes: To ensure a smooth print, rotate the model so it rests upright on the build plate. Due to varying plug sizes, you may need to wrap the plug with masking tape or insert a paper shim alongside it to achieve a tighter fit.
