I'm glad you found a solution to the problem with your kid's iPad charging cable constantly falling from the top bunk by creating this handy mount. If you're not comfortable using screws, you can use double-sided adhesive on the bottom instead. The original file is V2 and has been updated in V3 to include countersinks for the screw holes. I measured the length of the cable based on an Anker charging cable that I purchased from Amazon and it should work with most other iPhone Lightning cables, but I haven't tested any others personally.
