This is a miniature version of what will eventually be a modular phone charging stand. Two small components make up the cable adapter, sized to fit around an official Apple lightning cable, which then fits snugly in the top channel on the base. The charging cable can be routed out in one of four directions and the base plate conceals other exits. With multiple pieces, you have the option for different color schemes. There are two types of charge adapters. One type exposes a bit more of the charging tip by having it flush to a little above the surface of the adapter, allowing it to work with thinner cases. The other version has a flat tab sticking up and a thin wall of plastic housing the rest of the charging tip for a more finished look.
