This user adores 3D printing and recently designed a custom phone mounting bracket for their 1996 Ford Ranger pickup. Although the likelihood of other '96 Ranger owners might be low, they wanted to share their DIY approach. The bracket fits into a dashboard cubby hole, utilizing small ledges for stability. An extra audio cord length is kept in a slot behind the bracket. To create the gap between bracket legs, simply snap out the center section where leg thickness tapers down to one filament thick before expanding back out.
