In my second idea for the Carus iPhone and Apple Watch competition, I propose a sleek design with a flat base for charging iPhones 5, 6, or 6 Plus, and a pedestal for the Apple Watch. The base is crafted from a solid block of aluminum, hollowed out to accommodate electronics such as the control board and USB port. It features three thru holes for attaching the pedestal. The pedestal, also made from a single aluminum block, connects to the base via these holes. It provides space for charging the Apple Watch and incorporates LED light strips on its sides, which can function as reading lights or indicate device charge status.
