The designs I came across wouldn't work with my 8+ without straining the volume or lock buttons - clearly not perfect for video capture. I created this iPhone GoPro cradle to complement my 1515 openbeam extrusion based overhead mount. Although the two components might friction fit based on your printing settings, I printed in ABS and solvent welded it to ensure a secure hold.
