Iphone 7 Plus w/ printed cover bike holder

I used the original and adapted it to fit my iPhone 7s, the larger one, with a custom 3D printed cover from Thingiverse (www.thingiverse.com/thing:1942852), and also to fit my Motobecane HT550 mountain bike perfectly. To keep my phone secure in place, I will use rubber bands or Velcro straps to hold it down on the holder. Although it fits snugly with my case on now, smooth paths and front forks might not require rubber bands; however, I'll use them consistently for added safety. There are small nubs located under each end of the arms, which prevent the rubber bands from slipping off. I applied a few wraps of electrical tape around the bar to keep the item in place and prevent it from spinning around the pipe. Since I'm using a Bluetooth connection, access to the plug wasn't a concern for me. Nevertheless, I am considering creating an alternate version that can slide one way or another for easier access. As always, no warranty is implied or given; use this project at your own risk, and any damage to your electronics is entirely your responsibility. So far, it appears to be working well for my needs. I will update its performance as I accumulate more miles on the bike.
