iPhone 7 Plus Phone Case - Campbell's Tomato Soup

I was inspired by Devin Montes at MakeAnything to create my own custom phone case design using my printer. The first thing that came to mind was Andy Warhol's iconic Campbell's Tomato Soup painting, and I decided to give it a try. It only required 4 colors, which just so happened to be the ones I already had on hand, making this project incredibly convenient for me. I'm thrilled with how it turned out, despite some minor issues with thin lines that were hard to print. As a Mechanical Engineering student, I was able to leverage my skills in Solidworks and Illustrator to create the design and dxf file, respectively. I also used Simplify3D to slice the object, since I don't have access to a 3D scanner. Following Devin's other video on designing a phone case for the OnePlus 5, I adapted his process to fit my iPhone 7 Plus. Just like Devin, it took me multiple attempts to get the design just right before finally achieving the desired result. And let me tell you, it was worth all the effort! Devin made printing his designs accessible to everyone by using only PLA, but I decided to mix things up by combining PLA and flexible filaments to create a snugger fit around my phone. However, this means that if you want to try making this yourself using my files, you'll need to print the artwork in PLA first and then the rest of the case in flexible material. If not, your phone won't be able to wrap comfortably around the corners. I know, I'm sorry for adding an extra layer of complexity! In terms of printing order, I started with Yellow, followed by White, Black, Red, and then the rest of the case. To ensure a better fit, I scaled down the phone design to 99%.
