Iphone 7 plus case with Magnet tag slot
thingiverse
I recently damaged my old iPhone battery case, so I needed a new one. Several months ago, I had to replace my iPhone's original case due to damage. In Malaysia, I found that most cases available on the market were either too expensive or aesthetically unappealing. However, I stumbled upon a design uploaded by Carson1371 on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2282201) and decided to download it as a potential solution. After 3D printing the V3 case, I was pleased with how it looked. One minor issue arose when assembling the pieces, but I resolved it by cutting away excess material. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the case didn't fit my phone perfectly – it kept moving up and down inside. To address this problem, I manually sanded some parts to achieve a better fit. Just as I was satisfied with the results, I realized that I had forgotten about using a magnet phone stand in my car. Since metal tags are typically attached outside the case, I didn't want mine exposed either. To resolve this issue, I remixed the design and added a tag that met my needs while also correcting the size of the case. By incorporating stickers as joiners between the gaps, users can enjoy both aesthetics and protection from drops in just two steps.
