iPhone 7 Plus Arca Swiss Pano Mount
thingiverse
I'm searching for a way to freely rotate my iPhone 7 Plus close to the center point of the lens to create better 360 images. I recall having an aftermarket Arca Swiss tripod head plate that I knew would allow me to adjust the position of the lens. I discovered this mount on Thingiverse, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1702643. To fit my aftermarket plate, I enlarged it slightly (38 x 60) and it works perfectly. I added an offset mount to slide my phone into. The small notches indicate what I estimate to be the center points of the lens. It fits an iPhone 7 Plus with an Apple silicone case perfectly. My initial testing creating a 360 image indoors with objects close to the camera using DMD Panorama shows no stitching errors! Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .15 Infill: 20%-100% Notes: I printed this on an Ultimaker 3 Extended. The file works fine at .2 mm resolution and 20% infill. My final print was done at .15 with 100% infill using generic PLA and a 4 mm brim. I applied diluted glue stick to a 60 degree glass. How I Designed This I edited and added in Tinkercad.
