iPhone 7 Case with Bumpers

iPhone 7 Case with Bumpers

I created this custom iPhone 7 case because I didn't want to pay $50 for a similar design. To make it more user-friendly, I added hand grips so you can easily hold it with one hand and prevent dropping it. The case fits the phone snugly and stays securely in place during all drop tests. It took about seven iterations before I got it right, where it fit perfectly and felt comfortable to hold. Now, makers can have a high-quality iPhone 7 case for around $1-$2, which makes me love my 3D printer even more! I hope you enjoy using this case, and if you're feeling generous, consider adding a tip! I plan to create alternative case designs with different grips, such as hearts or circles, in the future. Be sure to check this model for new updates. Printer: Da Vinci Jr 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 30% I print this case at a 0.1 mm layer height with 30% infill to give it sufficient strength, considering it holds an iPhone. I chose the Thick setting for the shells to provide another boost of strength. The case is printed in white to allow artists to easily add cool designs to the back. However, printing it in a darker color will reduce wear over time. You can always paint it as well. Post-printing, I lightly sand the outside and remove supports both inside and out. I also sand the inside slightly to make it smooth against the phone, reducing the chance of scratching. The case fits so snugly that it's unlikely to happen.
