I'm placing this stand on a dash that's already slightly inclined, so the angle won't make much of a difference. By the way, I built it specifically for use with the Mophie case attached - it's my go-to companion when driving and navigating. The base is stuck down to prevent any slipping around, and it remains firmly in place on that 5-10 degree surface even while hitting high speeds. If you've got a nightstand that tops out right at eye level, this could easily become your new sleep-time buddy. Remember, for anything involving a car or extreme heat, ABS is the way to go - PLA might end up a sad puddle. Next up, I'm thinking of adding some serious angles to make it even more versatile!
