Insert the top edge of the phone first, making sure it clicks securely in place. The tightness of the bolts provides firm support for the legs. The flat and broad front leg acts as a guide for leveling and ensuring everything is straight in the frame. In line with the principles of open source development, I have supplied the SolidWorks files, making it easy to modify the design for a standard iPhone 6 or any other phone shape/case. To assemble the tripod, you will need: 1. 1 M4 x 50 stainless pan head bolt. 2. 1 M4 x 30 stainless pan head bolt. 3. 2 M4 nuts. 4. 2 M4 nylocks. 5. 4 washers. Tightening an extra double nut can help to provide added security in places where the pan head screws tend to loosen when the legs are folded up.
