This dock is made up of two pieces that are printed separately, one piece houses the phone dock and the other is designed to integrate the charging cord seamlessly. Even when credit cards are stored in the case's back pocket, this dock fits snugly. What's truly remarkable is how well it works; the fit and docking action is incredibly smooth with no signs of binding or connector bending. Instructions: Print at 0.2 mm layer height without any raft support to get the best results. This print has been thoroughly tested using PLA material only. To build supports, use iPhone6QcaseStand_meshmixer.STL in meshmixer software instead of default supports which may cause issues with removing them when printing is completed. If you're using a Thunderbolt cord with this dock, be aware that the PowerCordHolder part might not fit as designed; the issue could stem from either an official or cheap knockoff cable. However, feel free to modify the SolidWorks file for better fit. Tips: The 3D files are oriented incorrectly so you'll have to reorient them yourself before printing. Start by printing both parts separately, then assemble the cord holder part with your Thunderbolt charging cord, After that, insert the preassembled cord holder into the phone case stand, Then securely attach the cord to the PowerCordHolder with superglue or hot glue. Next, put both components together. Finally, place it on your desk using double-sided tape for easy installation. You'll be ready to use it right away.
