iPhone 6 Plus and 7 Plus Outlet Shelf
thingiverse
A Simple Refinement of Another Outlet Shelf Design. I've Kept the Basic Apple "Cube" Charger, But Added Support Legs to Prevent Tipping. The Original Shelf Would Often Get Pulled Out of the Outlet Due to Phone Weight Unless the Outlet Was Fresh and Held a Firm Grip on the Charger Prongs. To Counteract This Issue, I Designed Support Legs That Help Keep the Shelf in Place Against the Outlet Cover. Note that the Outlet Face Should Align Perfectly with the Outlet Cover for Optimal Effectiveness. This Shelf Doesn't Feature Raised Lips or Pockets to Hold Your Phone at an Upright Angle Like the Original Design. I've Included a Solidworks Part File, So Feel Free to Modify the Model and Make Changes if You Wish! Just Be Sure to Include This Modification in Your Remix. Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: I Printed Using PLA, So Depending on Your Print Orientation, the Overhang for the Charger Hole May Dangle. To Avoid This Issue, I Recommend Using a Layer Fan or Printing in an Orientation That Minimizes Overhang.
