iPhone 6 or 7 passive speaker and charging dock

thingiverse

Human: Compatible with both iPhone 6 and 7, this dock holds a phone snugly in place while providing passive audio amplification and charging capabilities. Simply thread an Apple Lightning cable through the designated hole and twist it to secure into position - a subtle groove keeps the cord neatly tucked away behind the dock.\r\nI've successfully printed this design using my basic MOD-t 3D printer, pushing its bridging and overhang limits without excessive sag or stringing. A raft or at least a 5-line brim is highly recommended to improve adhesion with the build plate; otherwise, the model may detach prematurely. Supports are essential for maintaining structural integrity, but be sure to place them outside the acoustic void to preserve its appearance. With Cura set to produce supports only when necessary, my prints feature minimal overhangs - a 44° threshold yields optimal results.\r\nInfill can be set to zero without compromising the model's rigidity, making it ideal for those seeking maximum precision and detail in their prints.
