I sought out a rugged phone mount that would allow me to slide my iPhone 6 in with its existing case still intact and lock it firmly into place, preventing it from falling out during intense riding sessions. Although you might need to modify the holder to fit your specific phone case and bike, I'm sharing this design because it works incredibly well. The swing clamp in front features a spring-loaded mechanism, while tabs prevent the rotation of the swing clamp once it's locked into place. To assemble the parts, attach the holder to the mounts using 8-32 threads with 1" long flathead screws. Next, secure the holder/mounts to the clamp with 2" long 8-32 screws. Finally, attach the swing clamp using a 1/4-20 x 1-1/2" bolt, accompanied by a small spring and locknut on the back side. When printing, you'll need to rotate the parts 105 degrees to ensure they lie flat on your printer, taking into account the coordinate system I had established during its design.
