Easily obtain textures from a .skp file using various software options. For Sketchup (free), export as a 2D image under File/Export/2d Graphic. Alternatively, export as a COLLADA file (*.dae) in Sketchup and locate the folder with the exported textures. C4D's trial version automatically generates a texture folder upon importing .skp files. In 3ds Max, textures are stored in ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages. Export an fbx file with embedded media option selected to generate a folder of textures. Rhinoceros 3D's trial version stores textures in ..AppDataLocalTempembedded_files directory upon importing .skp files, and allows users to copy and paste the textures to desired locations.
