iPhone 6 Macro Lens Clip

I was experimenting with some lenses and my iPhone 6 when I discovered that some were ideal for Macro photography. However, I needed a way to secure the lens firmly in place. John Umekubo's innovative friction fit design posted on 123d's models site inspired me to adapt it to suit my iPhone6 Plus. This adaptable design fits seamlessly over the existing case, yet remains flexible enough to function without a case as well. As evident from the photos, you can capture objects with remarkable proximity, but as with most macro photography, the depth of field is remarkably shallow. The lens I used produces a vignette on the iPhone preview screen; to rectify this, I simply zoom in slightly to expand the view to the entire screen. I modified the lens holder to accommodate a lens that I salvaged from discarded CCTV cameras. It might be worth reaching out to local security companies in your area to see if they have any outdated analog cameras and lenses they could donate. As everything is shifting towards digital now, you'll need to adjust the adapter to suit the lens of your choice; I'm confident you can do so. Therefore, I've included the 123dDesign file in the Zip archive. (In reality, I attempted to include it, but Pinshape won't permit 123dx files; you can find it here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1133652/#files) Remixed from John Umekubo's original design on 123D design, which is available here: http://www.123dapp.com/123D_Design/Macro-Lens-Holder-iPhone-6/4114876 I had to widen his adapter and move a 10mm hole further down the back of it. This allowed my lens to friction fit snugly into the hole and center itself on the existing iPhone camera lens.
