This is an innovative dock adaptor designed for iPhone 6 devices. The creator cleverly repurposed components from their iPhone 5 dock, integrating them seamlessly into a new case that provides snug coverage. To assemble this functional dock, follow these straightforward instructions: Begin by carefully prying the plastic casing off the original iPhone 5 dock, taking care not to damage any internal components. Next, place the dock adaptor over the iPhone's internal mechanisms, ensuring a precise fit. If desired, a small amount of adhesive can be applied to secure the rear section in place, enhancing overall structural integrity. Notably, the docking well on this custom-designed case is deeper than usual, providing exceptional support and stability for iPhone 6 devices. This impressive project was realized using a Robo 3D printer, with precise settings set at 2 mil layers. An initial prototype lacked curved edges, but these were later added to enhance aesthetics and perfectly replicate the distinctive design of Apple's official dock.
