iPhone 6 car holder
thingiverse
If you want to use your smartphone for music, navigation or anything else while driving there is no way around getting a holder. The standard holder design relies on a suction cup stuck to the windshield (banned in Switzerland), a clamp attached to the ventilation system or something similar. They all have one thing in common - they are aesthetically unpleasing and making your smartphone secure is either cumbersome or requires gluing something to it, such as a magnet, which gets in the way when you're using your phone outside of the car. If I had come up with a brilliant idea on how to overcome this issue I probably would be wealthy by now. Since that hasn't happened I have taken steps to minimize these drawbacks. This simple iPhone holder uses an adhesive to stick it onto your car's radio, and despite being aesthetically unappealing its size doesn't draw much attention. Using the holder is a piece of cake (just slide in) and because it sticks out far enough most cars' dashboards provide an adequate area for mounting it. Yes it's true - when the smartphone is secured you can no longer see your car clock easily. How It Was Created Designed, built, done all within just one minute with Tinkercad.
