I purchased a Brodit mount and iPhone holder for my vehicle. The mount itself was perfectly satisfactory, but I didn't care for the holder. So, I took some inspiration from nearby models and created my own custom holder using a 3D printer. The measurements were based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1412503, while the design drew inspiration from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1742323. The width of the design was tailored to fit an iPhone 6 with a 0.3mm case, so you may need to adjust the dimensions or add some padding using black tape if you plan to use it without a protective cover. Full credit for the modeling goes to my exceptionally talented significant other.
