My son requested me to print something to safeguard his iPhone 6 Plus from the sun and sand when he went on vacation to the beach. These items are designed to keep the iPhone off the hot sand and shield it from the sun while still allowing air to pass through and cool it. My daughter reported back that this method worked extremely well. She writes, "Dad - As promised, I tested the iPhone 6 Plus Sun Shade at the pool today. The sun was extremely hot with a clear sky at the time, and the temperature reached the mid-90s. The sun shade kept my iPhone 6 Plus cool for an entire hour. It sat in the sun shade below (see photo). When I took the phone out of the sun shade, it returned to its normal temperature.
