Hello everyone, We are 3Dex - a UK based commercial 3D printing company and high quality filament supplier. We stock premium filaments that quickly gain popularity for good reason! We love designing new prints in our spare time and creating innovative products. Here is our latest design - iPhone bumpers. We think these bumpers look fantastic, providing valuable protection to your phone while being removable with ease. The bumpers stay attached using friction, allowing quick removal. Using the scaling feature of your slicer, decide how tight you want the bumpers to be. For a loose fit or printing with ABS, keep it at 100% scale. Scale to 97-99% for a tighter fit when printing with PLA. You can even scale down further for an iPhone 6/6S. We found that the best results are achieved by orientating the print so that the flat bottom/top sits flat on the build bed. Printing on its side is not recommended. We printed out bumpers using our Blue ABS filament, which is available here: http://www.3dexfilament.co.uk/product.php?id=14 We used a layer height of 0.2mm and an infill of 20%. The settings are flexible - this design yields great results regardless of the printer settings.
