Update (4/5/2016) I'd advise against using PLA on hot days with direct sunlight in the car, as it can warp beyond practical use. However, I've had no issues printing it in ABS, and my car is stored in covered parking. That said, I did have problems with PLA in the summer when I first built this over winter. Update (12/25/2018) File uploaded for iPhone 8+ using an Otter Box case. The mounts slide into a CD tray and work well with my iPhone 6 & iPhone 6+. I designed them to accommodate the Commuter Otterbox case on my older phone. Using any material, just keep an eye on your prints this summer because of potential thermal expansion issues with PLA, which will likely lead to my mount holding the iPhone less snug. The files have been posted in NX CAD so you can customize to fit whatever case style you use for your new or current model of the phone.
