A user sought a Lightning connector-compatible iPhone stand with Lifeproof case support but couldn't find one, so they designed their own. The stand works for iPhone 5, 5C, and 5S models and can also be used without the case. Its connector block pivots for easy on/off and engages with the Lifeproof case for added strength. The designer has since updated the design to include stand bases with built-in support for the pivot cavity and various base configurations for a rear logo, as well as parts for addressing vibration issues using flexible filament. A support-free version is in the works.
