This print-ready case is specifically designed for PLA, with ABS untested. Earlier attempts with other materials were unsuccessful due to insufficient thickness. After multiple revisions, this model has proven satisfactory. However, it remains a work in progress and welcomes feedback. Share your ideas via comments. The file contains 4 .15mm circular supports at the case's corners; these must be removed post-printing but are essential for maintaining the build plate adherence and preventing warping during printing. Recommended print settings include a layer height of .15, 100% infil, one shell, no raft or support. The model was printed using a Makerbot Replicator 2 with 225°C temperature for a third-party filament and a glass build plate secured with painter's tape. Slicing software utilized was Makerware.
