iPhone 5 case
thingiverse
I designed this case from scratch earlier this year using Onshape, creating a model that I'm really proud of. To create the cello sketch, I used an existing picture and then refined it for this specific project. Here's a link to the Onshape document where you can see the original design: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/135651eda25ac97ccf91ddfb/v/6215bc82e19412aa735be150/e/f8edaeff7010cb26f8147f78 The case in the picture features a PLA bottom layer, followed by a TPU top layer on the base and walls. I intentionally designed the walls to be thicker than usual, which helps it withstand daily wear and tear. However, the TPU layer can start to peel away when taking the case in or out, as seen at the lightning port end of the case.
