iPhone 4 Tripod Mount

Over the weekend, I discovered a fantastic Instructable by jtsubota titled "iPhone 4 Tripod Mount." The short parts list prompted me to buy them after work. However, my local hardware store lacked some items. Realizing I could modify the project using my Makerbot, I made it work with the available parts. Instead of screws, I designed a press fit for ease and snugness. The mount feels sturdy enough to shake my phone without worrying about disconnection. My cost breakdown includes $0.40 for a nut, $1.18 for suction cups, and $0.50 for Makerbot plastic, totaling approximately $2. The tripod mount is ready to print on demand. To use the mount, simply follow these instructions: 1) Print the tripod mount, 2) insert 1/4" nut and 30mm suction cups securely, 3) attach it to a tripod shoe, and 4) record amazing Makerbot videos!
