I recently stumbled upon an old iPhone 4 gathering dust in a drawer, its cracked screen a constant reminder of better days. However, I saw potential in this relic and decided to breathe new life into it by repurposing it as a functional clock that also flashes notifications for email, Facebook, and Twitter thanks to a clever myLED plugin notification light solution. The phone's tendency to slide effortlessly from side to side posed an initial challenge, but I'm considering installing a small screw at the bottom to add some much-needed friction. As luck would have it, there's already a 3mm starter hole waiting to be utilized for this purpose.
