To capture perfect time-lapse footage during extended printing processes, my old iPhone 4 proves to be reliable. Although there are numerous tripod mounts available for the device, I opted against purchasing additional hardware such as threaded rods, suction cups or other attachments that I currently lack. Moreover, I wanted a securely mounted phone to avoid accidents like someone tripping over the tripod during long 18-hour sessions. With just half an hour and a generic 1/4" hex nut, you can achieve a simple yet effective solution for iPhone tripod mounting.
