A Lightning-to-30-pin adapter, coupled with this custom-designed accessory, enables iPhone 5 users to utilize car mounts designed for iPhone 3G(S) devices. To assemble the accessory, gather Part1.stl, 4x Part2.stl, 1x Part3.stl, and 4 small woodscrews. Drill holes in Part3 if necessary to accommodate your screws. Insert the cable into the appropriate slots, secure Part1 and Part3 with screws, and use Part2 as spacers (refer to assembly image).
