I wanted to modify this to accept a flush-mount Magsafe ring for charging. First print I just printed complete and found that the ring cut-out was a little too stringy to get a consistent mounting surface for the adhesive-backed metal ring. I decided instead to use the pause function to embed the ring during printing. During pause I pulled the backing off the adhesive and laid the ring in place, then continued printing. This obviously made sure that the ring would be completely flat and have a good adhesion surface. You probably don't need to pause and embed, but I was happier with the results. It came out very professionally. The original model is great. The rings I used were https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08QTX8WMT/ (WYNK Magnetic Wireless Charger Universal Metal Rings). They are advertised as being 0.55mm thick, however I made the cutout 0.8mm deep - for one, it makes the pause easy for 0.2mm layers, secondly the adhesive has some non-zero height, and mainly I did not want it to catch on the nozzle during embedding. It's possible to feel a very slight indentation, but it looks, and basically feels flush to to the touch. It holds like a commercial MagSafe case I included the buttons from the original design, but they are unchanged from the original.
