iPad Tripod Support for TikTok Kids

This is the iPad version of my Foldable Camera Tripod Accessories (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4230858). I designed this for my TikTok Kids during this time of COVID-19. It can be attached to a standard tripod or my Foldable Camera Tripod Remix (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4213462). If you choose the printed one with 100mm legs, I highly recommend printing the 100m 40 degrees legs supplied. It fits current iPads in both portrait and landscape mode and iPad Minis in portrait mode. I made it for a 12mm thick iPad with its protective case. If you don't have a protective case, I highly recommend putting some high-friction pads like this one: https://www.leevalley.com/en-ca/shop/tools/workshop/workbenches/benchtop-accessories/101914-high-friction-sheets. There's nothing preventing the iPad from sliding out of support from side to side! Parts required: • One ¼-20 x 1½" hex bolt (can be substituted with a ¼-20 x 2" bolt and a ¼-20 nylon lock nut) • One ¼-20 nut • One ¼-20 Hex Coupling Nut, Fully Threaded • One M4x25 screw • One M4 nut The hex bolt can be substituted with a ¼-20 x 2" bolt and a ¼-20 nylon lock nut. See picture. Printing: All parts should be printed as they are oriented. Base: Support everywhere except for a support blocker, which must be added. You don't need any inside support! In Cura, with the part placed at (0,0,0), add a 10x144x35 blocker at (-6, -18.4, 0). This should block the inside only and leave the oval hole supported. Arms, Swivel Base & Thumb Nuts: Support everywhere Assembly: The folding arms are held in place by a glued button. Fill the small holes with glue but don't overfill. The glue will squeeze out just enough to glue the button without gluing the arm. The M4-25 should be screwed in place with a drill. Slow down at the end to not strip the plastic. Some glue can be added under the head, but the heat from friction is enough to keep it in place. The thumb nut doesn't need to be tightened to keep the sliding arm in place.
