You should first put it to the test using an iPad 3, 4 or Air - no back casing necessary - then use 3M mounting tape to attach it firmly to a nearby wall. When attaching, make sure there's enough clearance between the clip and shelf for easy access to adjust the tablet. Carefully align the parts in an 'L' shape with the wall on one side and the bed facing upwards before you give it its final adjustment.
