With the COVID-19 lockdown and sudden surge in Zoom calls, I felt a pressing need for a reliable stand. Unfortunately, none of the hundreds available seemed quite right for me. After extensive design tweaks, I was thrilled to finally settle on this version. It prints out in approximately 45 minutes, which is remarkably quick. I needed it to be simple and easy to print without supports. The arm and base are connected to the nest piece with wire from a clothes hanger or even a paper clip.
