I was determined to find a way to secure my iPad to a kitchen cupboard, allowing me to watch videos and read recipes with ease. This solution should accommodate any tablet less than 10 millimeters thick, although I designed it specifically for my iPad Pro with Smart Cover in mind, which is approximately 9 millimeters thick and fits snugly. My tablet features a rubberized cover, but if yours doesn't, you can add a strip of felt to the inside of the bracket for extra softness and a secure fit. To use this design: 1. Print two pieces and carefully drill holes as needed. 2. Position the lower bracket where desired and attach it in place. 3. Place your tablet in the lower bracket and then position the upper bracket on top. 4. Elevate the upper bracket by 2 to 5 millimeters and mark its location with a pencil, taking note of any buttons that might interfere when sliding the tablet into place. 5. Secure the upper bracket in place. 6. Your tablet should now slide smoothly into position. Dimensions: Opening - 10 millimeters, Length - 100 millimeters, Mounting Hole Size - 2.5 millimeters (Drill larger as needed).
