I needed a stand for my iPad Air 2 that would allow it to stand upright with ease. Fortunately, it also works perfectly in landscape mode. There are two versions available to fit multiple iPad models, with slot widths of either 6.3mm or 7.7mm. The .stl files provided differ significantly in these measurements: Stand_63 accommodates iPads that are 0.24" thick, making it compatible with devices like the iPad Pro 10.5" from 2017 and my own iPad Air 2. On the other hand, Stand_77 is designed for iPads that measure 0.29" in thickness, which includes models such as the iPad Air and the iPad 6th gen from 2018. It's worth noting that these stands will fit many more devices, but for the best results, I recommend measuring the thickness of your own iPad to ensure it falls within the specified range – either slightly thinner than 6.3mm or 7.7mm. To prevent the stand from sliding, I added thin rubber pads to the rear feet, which work extremely well.
