iPad Pro 9.7" (1st Gen) Hinged Wall Mount

The first iteration was ugly and had incorrect measurements, but it otherwise worked. Then, I decided I wanted one to mount next to my whiteboards as well, so I made a new version with the same hinged design, but fixed everything that needed to be fixed from the first version. And this one is good enough to share with all of you. Regarding the 12.7" iPad Pro: This won't work with the 12.7" because the channel is only 7 mm wide while the 12.7" iPad Pro is 6.9 mm. Because of the tightness of the tolerance, it will be too close to call and I don't recommend printing this without widening that channel in the design first; the link to the downloadable file is at the top of this description. Mounting: The screw holes are 4 mm in diameter. To mount to the workbench built out of 2x4 pine, I used Grip Rite Self Drill Drywall Screws - 6x1-1/4". It's solidly in there. To mount this version to the drywall by the whiteboards, I used random wall anchors matched with screws that were in an unlabelled baggie. That also worked really well. Printing Notes: The big red part is 256 mm long and 235 mm tall. Make sure you have a large enough printer. I did mine on a CR-10. This print requires support. I used Cura's built-in supports, and it worked out pretty well. Other than that, I hope someone else finds a good use for this design. Functionally, the channel that should hold the iPad is 4 mm when it should be 7 mm. Not sure how I messed that up, but you're free to explore, modify, and fix this version if you want.
