After switching from the iPad Air 2 to the iPad Pro 12.9", I found no suitable and affordable tablet holder for the larger size. I already had one for smaller iPads and decided to adapt its design to fit a larger one. It's a geared design that allows you to simply place the tablet in the holder and tighten the bolts by hand, clamping it down for a tight fit. On one of the long sides, I added a holder/clamp for the Apple Pencil. Print Settings: Printer: CTC Bizer Dual Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% / 90% Notes: All brackets that need to withstand force such as studs, knobs, and gears were printed at 90% infill. The others, like the actual tablet holders (in and out slides & center ring), were printed at 25% infill. I used supports on all parts because it was necessary or gave better results. To print for the iPad Pro 12.9", you'll need: 1x Center-ring 1x Center Stud 1x Mic Stand Bracket 1x Knob 1x Knob Insert 2x Inner Side Bracket 2x Outer Side Slide 2x Inner Top Bracket 1x (or 2x) Outer Top Slide 1x (or 0x) Outer Bottom Pen Slide 4x Gear M5 4x Slider Knob When you don't need the Apple Pencil holder, just use two Outer Top Slides. Post-Printing: Assembling: You'll need these parts to complete assembly: For attaching the 4 Inner Brackets to center ring: 12x Allen screw M3x12mm 12x Nut M3 For attaching the MIC Stand Bracket to the Center Stud: 1x M8x30mm hex bolt 1x M8 nut For attaching Center Stud to Center Ring: 1x M8x30mm hex bolt 1x M8 lock-nut (allows for adjustable tightening of the center ring without the risk of getting loose and adjusting the force for turning the tablet from landscape to portrait) For attaching gears: 4x M5x25mm (or 20mm) hex bolt 4x M5 nut For attaching assembly to a mic stand: In the end, you'll need 3/8 thread to screw everything onto a mic stand. I sacrificed the cheapest mic clamp I could get (Stagg MH-8AH), which had a 5/8 thread bushing inside that I used to press fit into the Mic Stand Bracket. This allowed me to use a standard 5/8-3/8 thread adapter.
