In general aviation, iPad Mini based electronic flight bags (EFB) are extremely prevalent. However, iPads are known to overheat in the cockpit. The kneeboard presented provides forced air cooling to the back of the iPad while allowing it to be secured to the pilot's leg. Please note, this design is for only versions 4 and 5 of the iPad mini. Older versions of the iPad mini have a different thickness and will not fit in this design.
