Well after years of using a full-sized iPad, I have now been using the mini for some time. The minis are brilliant in a nutshell. This stand also doubles as a holder for the iPhone 6+ and iPhone 5s, all fitting perfectly within its confines. I've even tried it with my iPod touch. This is a compact version of my other stand that still retains the angular design feature to enhance structural integrity. It works exceptionally well. The print file was also much quicker as it uses significantly less plastic compared to some of the other stands. The holder's gap width measures 8.5mm in printed form. Two versions are available: "Mobile" and "Stable." The "Mobile" version lacks screw holes, whereas the "Stable" one includes them. The photos display the "Mobile" iteration. UPDATE: I made several updates to the design because I wanted a snugger fit, a slightly steeper angle, and I noticed that some prints of the initial two versions resulted in weak areas around the angular feature due to insufficient fused plastic. To address this, I printed the new version on one side, which provided greater strength but used more supports and wasted plastic. As a result, I designed V3 with a curved shape. If printed vertically, with either the left or right side facing downwards, it's extremely strong. My experiments revealed that reinforcing the curved sides, combined with grooves in the base, creates even greater structural integrity. Perhaps this effect is unique to my UP 3D printer, but it seemed worth noting. The current version, V4, incorporates button spacing. I drew inspiration from a humorous exchange in an episode of Bottom, specifically the character Eddie Hitler's letter to Father Christmas, which went something like: "I know where you live... don't pisz about, matey boy!". This product was created on SketchUp and printed on a UP3D printer.
