iPad mini Ram Mount Shade
thingiverse
I still have some learning to do in AutoCAD, and my CAD model is probably in millimeters, so I scale by 25.4 in Cura because my dimensions were in inches. My print heights are usually a little short, so I scale z by 1.03. When I pull the .stl into Cura, I also need to rotate the shade so that it lies flat against the bed. All this is pretty easy to do in Cura, so I'm not going to bother trying to fix the CAD model. The slot for the volume buttons and slider for the ringer is a bit off-center, but works just fine. The slot for the RAM Mount is also slightly off-center, but works just fine too. The holes aren't perfectly aligned with the mount, but you can start one screw then drill the others as needed. I'm not making any of these changes to the model since they aren't worth my time and effort to improve them.
