iPad Mini hood/visor/shade
pinshape
Needed a sun shield/visor for my buddy's DJI Phantom quadcopter. Printable in three parts on a standard 200mm x 200mm bed with high-quality results. Settings Printer: i300ProRafts: NoSupports: YesResolution: .24 mmInfill: 20% Notes: Printed with 3 outlines/shells using a 0.4mm nozzle for optimal layer adhesion. Each piece took approximately 1.5 hours to print, making it an ideal project for enthusiasts. Designed specifically for the home button and lightning connector on the right side. Perfectly fits snuggly over iPad Mini 2, 3 or 4. Achieves best results when printed in black color. Walls are 0.9mm thick--typically 4 layers. Post-Printing Assembly Break off supports if you have them (it's a good idea to do so). Assemble the sides first, then attach the drops and swivel in the top piece. Securely clamp it into the Phantom's holder, ensuring the top stays down firmly. Design Details This design was created using Onshape, digital caliper, and a healthy dose of creativity.
