Ipad Mini Holder Stick Mount for 5/8" Dowel Rod

I originally used an iPad mini as my camera, but I wanted a more stable solution. To create a simple mount, I repurposed an old dowel rod that was just lying around. My goal was to craft something sturdy and easy to maneuver in the field. I designed this print with support on one end, so it can be securely attached to a 5/8" dowel rod of any length you prefer. Once complete, simply slide the fitting over the dowel rod and insert it into the ground – voila! You'll have a makeshift monopod that's surprisingly stable. I've also included a pre-sliced version with support for your convenience. This was generated using Simplify3D, so you can rest assured it's been optimized for a smooth print. Additionally, I've added another version to the download package that features a revised design printed horizontally.
