The latest components of the project are now complete and ready for testing. I uploaded them without prior testing, but rest assured that the iPad holder width has not changed, so performance should be identical to the initial version in all respects. I specifically designed this case for use with CPU-intensive drone apps such as Drone Deploy, where my trusty iPad mini 4 often finds itself exposed to direct sunlight and scorching summer temperatures while adhering to strict visual line of sight regulations. Initial tests have been a resounding success, successfully keeping the iPad at a safe temperature. This versatile case will work seamlessly with any standard 80mm fan of your choice. I opted for a compact 5V USB-powered fan that can be easily plugged into a power bank or directly into the controller's power source using a Y cable. The design ensures a snug fit within the device clamp, requiring no modifications to the controller, and the iPad slides effortlessly into place. You may need to sand down the ipad holding part of the case due to varying printer tolerances. Fortunately, with my printer, it fits like a glove, requiring minimal adjustment. As this project is still in its early stages, I have not yet had the opportunity to test the matching upper and lower halves. If you decide to print it, please feel free to share your feedback, and don't hesitate to modify or improve the design using the provided .prt files.
