I wanted an iPad Air holder that would fit perfectly on my shelf, holding all my computer stuff in one place. I can use it as a second monitor or simply use it as a separate browser or app - whatever suits my needs best. This holder should be able to fit many different iPad models, from the Mini to the Pro, and also accommodate various other tablet brands without any issues. Given that my shelf is 15 mm wide and can hold my iPad Air with an Apple case, this holder seems like a perfect solution. It will work in both vertical and horizontal positions, leaving a gap for the iPad charging/USB/Lightning cable. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm layers Infill: 30% hexagon Notes: The one pictured is printed in PETG with three walls, two bottoms, and two tops. Be careful when using support for the clips, as it can be tricky to remove and may cause breakage. Post-Printing: To assemble this holder, simply trim, file or sand as needed to achieve a good fit - you shouldn't have to force these pieces together. Take note of the taper on the slide-in tabs and matching taper on the tubing clips; ensure that your clips are properly aligned. Attach the clips to the shelf, then slide in the base tabs until they're snug. Verify that your base is square to the tube. Add a few drops of superglue to secure the pieces together. Once dry, remove the assembled base piece and apply more superglue to the joint area, allowing it to cure. Repeat these steps for the top piece. If needed, use tape to shim your shelf tubing for a firmer grip - this may vary depending on your printer.
